There are many beautiful species of birds, though not many can compare to the beauty of tropical birds. Birds of the tropics are generally not only beautiful they have bizarre personalities as well. Some of these birds are difficult to spot while vacationing in the tropics, though many are very commonly seen, such as some of the parrots we have all grown to love and adore. Tropical Birds and Their Colors

The colors of tropical birds are phenomenal compared to birds of other locations, their colors are beautiful, and they can be considered striking to say the least. There are birds with bright blues, mixed with yellows and oranges, among other color hues blended together on just one bird. The colors are generally very brilliant, and these birds can be spotted from afar due to their colors. Many of the locals in tropical areas are used to tourists coming to their areas to sight see and spot these beautiful birds, in fact many of the villagers and townsfolk make a living by taking tourists and bird watchers to the very places these awesome birds generally can be found.
Some Tropical Birds Becoming Endangered

Many of the birds from the tropics have been hunted for years for their feathers, and as pets for those in other countries. Though many of these species are plentiful, there are many that are on endangered lists because of the demand for their feathers, and for the birds in general to be made into pets. Some of the tropical birds are used by the locals in headdresses and other types of clothing, these feathers are mostly only used for ceremonial purposes, and are often hard to find because of the need for only the rarest of the species. The commonly seen birds are not as sought after for special clothing because they are so typical.
A great many of these tropical species are very amazing to watch, one of the Birds of Paradise, for example, has unique mating characteristics that are interesting to watch. The male will clean an entire area very carefully, than he puffs his feathers out and makes the most interesting noise known in the species of birds, all while dancing about to impress his possible mate. There are hundreds of other species with very similar characteristics that make for an exciting day for those who enjoy bird watching as a hobby. When interested in watching birds, one of the most important things to do is to learn the tricks and tips of the hobby, and most importantly, Wild bird identification is a must.
Knowing what types of birds that are being observed makes the entire hobby worthwhile, it certainly makes for better conversation at the end of a long day of watching these amazing feathered creatures.
